Positions AvailableTenured or Tenure-track Faculty PositionThe University of California, Berkeley, seeks applicants at all levels for a tenure-track faculty position in the Department of Plant and Microbial Biology within the College of Natural Resources. This position represents an exciting opportunity to join a fully funded program with the Energy Biosciences Institute (EBI). Of particular interest are persons whose research includes biochemistry of cell wall synthesis and lignin structure and degradation; however, creative and energetic individuals who show extraordinary promise or accomplishment in areas relevant to the EBI will be considered. We require a Ph.D. and evidence of outstanding scholarship within a relevant discipline. Start-up and research funds will be provided by the EBI. This position is tenured or tenure-tracked in the Department of Plant and Microbial Biology and is an excellent opportunity to launch, sustain, or crown an academic career.
