Positions Available: Postdoctoral Positions If you are interested in a postdoctoral position in the Niyogi Lab, please send a letter of application, CV, and names and addresses of three references to: Dr. Krishna K. Niyogi, Department of Plant and Microbial Biology, 441 Koshland Hall, University of California, Berkeley, CA 94720-3102; Graduate Student Positions Graduate students in the Niyogi Lab are admitted through the Department of Plant and Microbial Biology at the University of California, Berkeley. All graduate students receive complete financial support throughout graduate school from a combination of departmental funds and research grants. During the first year, students do three "rotations" in different laboratories to explore possibilities for Ph.D. thesis research. The thesis advisor is selected at the end of the first year by mutual agreement between student and professor. More detailed information about our graduate programs in Plant Biology and Microbial Biology can be found on the department's website (PMB Graduate Program). The deadline for applications is usually around the first week of the new year.
